Shombee is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She holds a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy from Capella University.   Shombee graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College. She has diverse experience working with children and adolescents, individuals, couples, and families within the Rock Hill School District and in the community as a behavioral therapist.  Shombee has experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, grief, mood disorders, relationships and transition, self-harm, and behavioral challenges.  Shombee’s therapeutic style is heavily influenced by treatment modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy,  Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.  In her personal time, she enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with family, and exploring new restaurants. Shombee’s caring and empathetic nature is centered around ensuring her clients feel safe, comfortable, and empowered to take charge of their lives.
