Christine Sullivan is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and is working towards her LISW in South Carolina. Christine grew up in Rochester, New York, and moved to South Carolina in the summer of 2020. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and went on to receive her Masters in Social Work and Mental Health at the same school, Roberts Wesleyan College in 2015.
Since then Christine has worked in a variety of different settings such as a supportive housing setting working with people who have chronic and severe mental health diagnoses, a traditional outpatient therapy setting working with all ages but mostly adolescents and young adults, and now works at Thrive Family Services.
Christine is passionate about each person having equal access to quality mental health care regardless of socio-economic status. Her therapeutic style is relational and person centered. Christine enjoys using a variety of techniques to help clients reach their standard of health and joy.
These techniques draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Somatic/ Mind Body connection techniques. In Christine’s spare time she enjoys writing, yoga, good coffee, dogs, and spending time with her husband, David. Christine is excited to be a part of the Thrive community and grow as a therapist.
