Alex Farley
M.Ed, LPCA
Alex earned his masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Winthrop University. He has a
bachelors in experimental psychology, where he minored in counseling and development. He
has experience helping children with Autism Spectrum Disorder through working as a
Registered Behavior Technician, as well as helping individuals of all ages and challenges while working as an intern at the Winthrop University counseling clinic.
Alex is thrilled to work at Thrive as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and looks
forward to helping each client achieve their goals. He utilizes a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative Solutions Focused and Rogerian therapies. Alex
believes that with effort, a non-judgmental counselor, and courage, there are no limits to what anyone can accomplish and everyone can make positive changes within their lives. Alex intends to make each session a place where all clients feel free to overcome their past, create and work towards goals, and build a better and happier future.
